What We Inspect During Your Free On-Site Consultation
Unlike call-center sales companies that quote blind prices over the phone and tack on thousands of dollars in "unforeseen site conditions" on installation day, our on-site assessment covers every technical detail upfront:
- Main Service Panel & Meter Inspection: We check your service amperage (100A, 200A, or 400A), available breaker spaces, neutral/ground bonding location, and outdoor meter socket construction.
- Air Conditioning & Motor Surge Analysis: We read the nameplate Locked Rotor Amps (LRA) and Running Load Amps (RLA) on your central air conditioner(s), heat pump, submersible well pump, and basement sump pumps.
- Gas Meter & Pipe Sizing Assessment: We inspect your natural gas meter CFH capacity badge or propane tank regulator stage, measure linear distance to the generator pad, and calculate total connected BTU/hr demand.
- Code-Compliant Pad Placement: We measure clearances from windows, doors, dryer vents, soffits, and property lines to guarantee compliance with NFPA 37 and your township's zoning ordinance.
